0.6 Cafe | Alexandria | Sydney | AUS

When all your girlfriends come to brunch with you, you know it's going to be a good time.

Ever since my gal pals have caught wind that I've been feeding and photographing, suddenly they want to be a part of the action! Works for me, the more dishes ordered the more pictures I take, the more amazing food I try :)

Today our journey takes us to 0.6 Cafe in the industrial area of Alexandria, only a couple blocks away from The Grounds. An odd name, yes, but the more unusual the brand the more intrigued I am of the food.


But first, Chai.

Today Beyonce had a Soy Chai Tea

The best chai lattes are made with real tea leaves that are brewed to perfection, not sugary syrups that just taste like processed sugar. 0.6 use Prana Chai, a honey-sweetened chai tea leaf mixture that is strong in spice and mellow in sweetness. Here, the barista has prepared hot soy-soaked chai tea leaves, and Beyonce pours herself a cup when she knows it's ready.


And then, there was coffee.

Today I drank a Cold Drip by R. Lab (Colombia)

Like any self-respecting Sydney cafe, there is speciality coffee for the caffeinated snobs roaming the town. They offer a range of coffees and other drinks, including single origin espresso and filters made in-house.

As expected, the cold drip was beautiful, and I absolutely would come back here for coffee sometime. 


On the rocks or over cream.

Today, Sugar Princess and Kimmylicious had an Iced Latte and an Affogato

With Sydney summer approaching, all of us have been craving a glass of something iced as of late! Who can say no to a beautiful espresso with cool milk, or topped with a delicious dollop of ice-cream?


Croissants galore!

Today Sugar Princess ate Duck, Duck, Duck

With fresh avocado, roasted duck, fresh coriander, and classic homemade plum sauce on a French croissant

Yum! Who doesn't love a good piece of duck? Paired with coriander and plum and it's a totally a winning combo!

Today Beyoncé ate Benny went to Paris

With poached eggs, avocado, tomato relish and homemade salsa with a side of bacon on a French Croissant

Please refrain from licking the screen. Eggs, bacon, croissant, avocado... best breakfast ever!


It's pronounced [pok-hay]

Today I ate the 0.6 Poké

The signature dish of 0.6, this Poké comes with all the essentials: house cured salmon, cucumbers, avocadoes, tomatoes, green salad, and brown rice.

I love Poké bowls because they're delicious and filling, and super good for you. 0.6’s version is so good, I could totally go for another bowl!


When I seafood, I eat it.

Today Kimmylicious ate the Drowning Fish

Smoked Salmon Fillet with poached eggs, smashed avocado, and salad on toast

Look at that bright red colour of that fish. It may be drowning but it looks damn tasty. This would make a decent meal for lunch. So healthy too!

And last but not least... let's get high -

on Matcha!

Today I got High on Matcha

This is a home-baked Matcha cake served with seasonal fruits, sesame ice-cream, topped with crispy matcha waffle cone, with matcha ganache on the side
