With so many comforting delights, it’s no wonder why I always feel so at home at Kusuka. Not only is the food amazing, but look at this cozy aesthetic, it’s just the kind of place where you get sit back, relax, and enjoy tasty Indonesian food with a bear in your congee.
What we ate:
Ropang Jupiter French toast - It wouldn’t be a Kusuka French Toast without a gold shine, this toast was definitely made for the gram.
Vegetruffle Congee. With so many places going nuts over truffles lately, it’s great to Kusuka getting on board, and with their truffle congee. This has actually inspired me to make some congee at home.
Super Bowl - this is a classic Kusuka dish straight from Indonesia, and it is SPICY!! Delicious, but not for the feint hearted.
Wagyu Kuey Teow - another one of their newest items, and probably my favourite next to the congee. A house favourite, made with real pieces of wagyu on soft rice noodles. Very comforting.
Black Forest drink & Lyla drink. If you love chocolate and berries, you will love the black forest drink. The Lyla was a bit too sweet for me, but I just added more water. Overall, very impressed with the quality. It is obvious a lot of heart and soul goes into this menu.
