”Dine a world away in the Himalayas.”
I’ve eaten lots of cuisine over the years, but truthfully I could not say I’ve eaten lots of Nepalese food. That all changed when I took the job to photograph The Muglan on Liverpool Street, where after the shoot the chefs delighted me with freshly cooked momos, curries, breads, and finished us off with desserts and lassi. The food was somewhat spicy, rich in flavour, and very much reminded me of Indian and Chinese cuisine. I would love to take a group of friends here for dinner sometime.
The Muglan interior is also quite beautiful. Not much is expected from the outside, but when you walk inside it’s like entering a warm, cozy cabin in the Himalayas, a whole other world hidden in the CBD. You must also try their Himalayan beer, it’s their imported specialty 🍺
